VINTAGE
Vintage 2014 was the 8th consecutive year of favourable weather conditions (warm, sunny, mild with ocean breeze). Milder weather conditions in late April/May delayed final harvesting by about a week which created wines with excellent weight, concentration and texture.
VITICULTURE / WINE MAKING NOTES
60% Cabernet / 40% Merlot. Each were vinified and matured in a combination of oak and stainless steel before the final blend was assembled, fined and filtered.
TASTING NOTES
The nose is full of sweet little black berries, plum and cassis. Whilst the palate is pure and silky with red and black berry fruit flavours, vanillin wood spice and fine soft tannins.
